How do I get from the airport to St. Anton am Arlberg?

Whether by taxi, train or car – many routes lead to St. Anton.

If you are flying to Innsbruck:

We recommend that you contact a taxi company in St. Anton in advance of your journey. You can find information about one of the taxi companies we work with (and have only had good experiences with) at: www.derantoner.at

From Innsbruck to St. Anton there is also a fast train connection from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (approx. 60 minutes and without changeover).

If you are flying to Zürich:

There is an airport shuttle bus from Zürich airport – the “Arlbergexpress”.

Alternatively, you can travel more comfortably by taxi. We recommend that you contact a taxi company in St. Anton in advance of your journey. You can find information about one of the taxi companies we work with (and have only had good experiences with) at: www.derantoner.at

In addition, there is a very good train connection from Zürich Hauptbahnhof to St. Anton (duration approx. 2 hours 45 minutes).

If you are flying to Munich:

The local taxi company from St. Anton can pick you up in Munich. This is the most pleasant way of travelling to St. Anton. Follow this link for more information: www.derantoner.at

You can also travel by train from Munich to St.Anton. It takes about 4 hours from the airport and at least two transfers – but once you arrive, the walk from St.Anton train station to our house is only about 5 minutes.

If you are flying to Memmingen:

The journey time from Memmingen to St. Anton is about 3 hours by train, but the walk from St. Anton train station to the Landhaus is no more than 5 minutes. You can find more information on travel times and prices here: www.oebb.at/de/fahrplan

The local taxi company “Der Antoner” will also pick you up from Memmingen, if booked in advance. The taxi journey to St Anton am Arlberg is around 2 hours. Follow the link for more information: www.derantoner.at

Friedrichshafen Airport:

Friedrichshafen Airport is less than 2 hours away from St. Anton by car or private  and is a good alternative for your journey.

Airport St. Gallen-Altenrhein:

Altenrhein Airport is only 98 km away from St. Anton – a journey time of just over 1 hour by car or taxi or 2.5 hours by train.

Is it possible to arrive before 4pm?

We are happy to welcome you in the morning with a breakfast (at an extra charge) if you want to spend your arrival day on the slopes. Please contact us prior to your arrival day if you plan to arrive early. Further information

Is the reception always manned?

We are always available for you. However, the reception is not always manned and you will receive a telephone number from us on arrival, where you can reach us any time.

Are the apartments and rooms all located in the Landhaus?

Our rooms are located in the Landhaus Albert Murr and our Murrmel Apartments are located in the neighboring building across the street, almost diagonally across from Landhaus.

Is there a wellness area?

In our bed and breakfast there is no wellness area. However, our house is very well situated, and the Arlberg Wellcom Centre is only a few minutes’ walk away. The Arlberg Wellcom Center offers a gym, a large sauna area, an indoor and outdoor pool as well as massage and cosmetic treatments (requiring advance notice).

What can I do in St. Anton in the summer?

The summer in St. Anton am Arlberg offers so much more than just beautiful mountain landscapes. From peaceful strolls around the Verwallsee to adventures on the high ropes course – there is something for everyone.
